I personal think that a lot of people suffer in areas of life based on their decisions to do or thing or their decisions to not do a thing. Decision is the force that moves us in one direction or another. I was talking with a co-worker of mine a few years ago as he complained about his inability to be faithful to his girl friend at the time. I, being the great awesome friend that I am, let him complain until he was done. After a brief pause I simply said to him, “You don’t love her enough.” He sat up in his chair and looked at me puzzled so I repeated it with a little more clarity. “If you loved her more you would be faithful to her. That’s the bottom line man.” I then proceeded to say, “See you tomorrow.”, and I walked out. I’m sure he was staring at the door when I left!

We make decisions to do what we do and when the scripture says to love Him with your all thy heart, all thy soul and all thy mind it begins with a decision to simply “Give God Love”. When you love someone, they words are important, their feeling are important and you don’t want to let them down. If you want to love God more decide that it’s important to do so and then like Nike says, “Just Do It!” Treat God let He matters, like His Words Matter and like His Purposes matter. Also once you decide on this “Ask for His Help” to love Him more. It might sound a little funny, but the word says “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.” That would include loving Him more.

When we on purpose more God from just being a figure who watches us everywhere we go and make Him our personal friend and Father I believe we as Christian will begin to treat Him not just like the Awesome Creator He is but also like the best friend He wants to be.

I heard a quote that said, “The average person has 60,000 thoughts per day and of these more than 80% are negative”. Our minds are part of our human nature and need to be trained just like of bodies do. We need to renew our minds to line up with God’s Word and this requires work and training. It will not just happen; it’s something that you must be mindful of and do “on purpose”. Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:”. Our thoughts are the foundation of our lives. So with that said, it’s imperative that we as believers judge our thoughts and words to line up with God’s word and then express God’s presence in our lives.

Some people (of course not you), may say or think “That’s just too much work.” Or “It doesn’t take all of that!”. To those people, (again…not you of course) I ask a follow-up question, “Is what God has done for us worth any amount of work we can do to please Him and be an example for others?” If your answer to the question is “No.”, than I guess I’m not talking to you. But for those that have given Him our “entire life” this is just a “part” of that “entire”.

As we as Christians keep working on becoming more like Jesus, it’s important that we judge the intents of our hearts. We often see people that where the label of “Christian” but they end up acting in ways that would make you question that. So with that said, it’s important to understand that our actions simple express who we are as humans but as far as God is concerned the Blood of Jesus has already paid the price for our shortcomings and those of others. So our actions don’t always determine whether or not we are Christians but they are still very important; however, it’s important to understand that our actions are an expression the motives of our heart.

If we really want to act like Christians and be a truly sincere example of what God means to us and has done for us, than our actions would express that by us continuing to develop and become better Christians day by day. The same problems you had years ago should begin to move out of your life, if the motive of your heart is to become better. If you are still doing the same things that may not line up with the Word of God, it’s most likely a result of your heart not really desiring to grow and become an example of a true Christian.

Also, keep very close eye on how you are growing in the church you are attending. If you heart is really to become a better example of Christ and it’s just not happening, it could very well be a result of the church you are attending and the teaching you are getting. Church “IS NOT” a place for an emotional experience. It’s the “school” for Christians. If you went through grade school having fun and jumping off the tables, you would never pass a test. The same thing applies to your church. Are you actually learning “how” to win in life and become better or are you just getting a temporary “good feeling”? Your church should instill principles from the Word of God that will challenge you to grow. If not your heart condition may simply be that your spirit is hungry and your actions are a result of that.

Always keep in mind that we are a 3-part being; Mind, Body and Soul or Mind. With that said, our minds are a part of who and what we are. If our minds don’t agree with the Word of God our lives and bodies will never reflect the principles of God. We as humans are in this world, but we must learn and work to think of ourselves as Children of God and see things according to the Word of God. For example, we are not naturally able or willing to forgive others for hurting us. We would rather make them pay and suffer for hurting us, but the Word of God commands us to forgive others as He has forgiven us. This must be practiced and done by faith. We must work to renew of minds to obey God before this becomes a natural side of what we do.

As we work more and more to be the children of God that we are meant to be, do not forget that it’s work to renew our minds and train ourselves to think like the Word of God commands us. The bible speaks of how Blessed Abraham was in everything he did. No matter where he went or what he did The Blessing was with him. Whether he was fighting in battle, raising sheep or making love to his wife Abraham was blessed. So we as the seed of Abraham have a right to that same blessing. But there’s one vital point to keep in mind as we believe in the blessing on our live and that is that Abraham did “only” those things that God wanted or told him to do. Abraham did not choose his own way and then expect God to bless it, Abraham followed God’s voice and instructions and the Blessing was with him. The blessing is attached to the plans of God not our own plans.

As children of God we have been blessed, however as children of God we are expected to obey our Father and in turn receive everything that the Father has. If you choose a plan outside of what God perfect will is for your life, is God suppose to change what He has destined for your life and just “bless” your plans? No. If we are to walk in the True Blessing, just as Abraham did, we need to do what Abraham did, and that was obey! You have been blessed but that blessing needs obedience to be in operation in your life.

For those of us you have believed and accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior we are empowered for success through God’s connection with us. One thing that I think people in the world mistake, quite often we ourselves may forget as well, is that we are NOT Perfect…JUST Forgiven! The only difference between us and those who have not received Christ as our Savoir is a decision to accept and believe. Its not our job as Christians to point fingers, condemn or think higher of ourselves as those who have not accepted but it’s time for the true Love of God to be shown for everyone.

Ephesians 2:3–5 (KJV) says, “Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)” This scriptures clearly speaks of the love of God for us before we were believers. So if God loved us before we accepted Him, He also still loves those who still have not. As His children it’s our duty to “truly” look and act like Him. Wearing our “Blessed T-Shirts” is good but not if your life speaks to someone filled with the devil.

As a child of God we are to walk in love beginning in our homes with our husbands, wives and children. I personally believe the level of the true Christian you are begins and can be seen by those closest to you. If you are having a problem being faithful to your wife or husband who you see everyday, how can you be faithful to God who you have not seen in the flesh?

Our desire here at “IAMBLESSED.INFO” is to inspire through clothing and life of who we are as blessed Children of God and may our light, once it truly begins to shine, pull others in to that same Love the God has for the unsaved as He has for us.

Based on the original sin of Adam we as his descendants were born under it, but because of the Blood of Jesus we were made “right” with God. We need to keep this in mind despite what we do. We sometimes forget that we were shaped in (the) iniquity (of our fathers) [Psalm 51:5] meaning we were born in the matter of our parents and under their sins. But just as we did nothing to be born in sin, we can do nothing to be made right or free from sin but to believe on the one that set us free which is Jesus Christ. One thing that we all need to work on is frankly learning to renew our minds and bodies to agree with our born again spirits. But faith in the Blood of Jesus our spirits are made right with God, but our minds and bodies need to then be trained out of our old nature and habits. We’ve all probably heard people say, “I was born this way.” In reference to their sin nature and that may be true. Your father may have been a womanizer, you mother may have had children out of wedlock or practiced homosexuality so that iniquity of your parents may have been passed down. However thru obeying the Word of God and submitted to what the Blood of Jesus has done for you, you are no longer subject to that but you are set free from it.

We are free from sin by the blood of Jesus so make that the fore thought of how you see yourself as a child of God and then work on renewing your mind through proper teaching and obedience to God and His word to walk in the freedom that the Blood has purchased for you.
